Melbourne Cup
Melbourne cup is always a busy day here at Luxwerk Photography. As an event photographer we always get booked for multiple events on Melbourne Cup day. Last year we were hired to shoot Melbourne cup event at Empire bar in Lathlain and Rambla on Swan restaurant in South Perth.
We love shooting Melbourne cup events as venues do their best to decorate and make it fun for the guests, and the guests put on their best clothes for Melbourne cup. This makes it an awesome opportunity for us photographers to capture beautiful looking images.
At Rambla on Swan everyone was greeted by a complementary glass of champagne and then people were free to get a drink mingle and enjoy a nice meal. And of course watch the race. We captured great group photos of guests with their amazing clothing and candid photos of people enjoying themselves.
Empire bar is more energetic and the clientele here loves to party. Thanks to Daren Reid from Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove who was MC’ing the whole event and then jumped on the stage for some amazing songs people were having a great time. Luxwerk captured the best dressed competition and photos of guests enjoying themselves to the music. Our photos were colourful, energetic and captured the vibe of the party. Many people loved the photos and they were already ready to book for next year’s Melbourne Cup!
